Ruposhi Unnayan Sangstha (RUS) is a non-governmental organization, established in 2009, with a vision to promote sustainable development and improve the quality of life for communities across Bangladesh. Since its beginning, the organization has been working consistently to support underprivileged people through various social and economic development initiatives.
RUS is accredited by the Microcredit Regulatory Authority (MRA) and the Department of Social Services (Somajseba Odidoptor), ensuring that its programs are conducted with transparency, accountability, and in compliance with national standards.
The organization focuses on key areas such as poverty reduction, microfinance, education, skill development, women empowerment, and social awareness. Through these efforts, RUS aims to build a more inclusive, self-reliant, and prosperous society. With 5 branches, the organization is gradually expanding its services to reach more people at the grassroots level.
Ruposhi Unnayan Sangstha is led by Md. Abu Sayeed (Chairman) and Md. Babul Hossian (Executive Director-Acting), whose leadership and dedication continue to strengthen the organization’s impact. Under their guidance, RUS is committed to introducing innovative and sustainable solutions to meet the changing needs of the community.
