During the devastating floods of August 2024 in Feni, thousands of families were severely affected, losing their homes, food supplies, and access to clean water. In response to this humanitarian crisis, Ruposhi Unnayan Sangstha (RUS) took immediate action to stand beside the flood-affected communities.

Our dedicated RUPOSHI Team traveled from Dhaka (Dhamrai) to the most vulnerable and remote areas of Feni. Rather than limiting our efforts to easily accessible locations, we worked at the grassroots level, going directly into affected communities to identify and reach people who needed urgent support.

Our Relief Support
We distributed essential emergency items to ensure immediate survival and basic comfort for affected individuals, including:
- Dry food items (such as biscuits, chira, and other ready-to-eat foods)
- Pure drinking water
- Essential medicines and first aid supplies
- Basic necessities for men, women, and children also
Our goal was to support every group in the community, ensuring that no one was left behind especially children, women, and elderly individuals who were at higher risk during the disaster.

Collaboration & Impact
Understanding the scale of the disaster, we also collaborated with other NGOs and volunteer groups working in the area. This collective effort allowed us to extend our reach and provide more effective and coordinated support.
Through our combined efforts, Ruposhi Unnayan Sangstha successfully supported over 3,000 flood-affected people during this crisis.

Our Commitment
The Feni Flood Relief 2024 initiative reflects our deep commitment to humanitarian service. We believe in standing with communities during their most difficult times and ensuring dignity, care, and support for all.

This mission was not just about providing aid it was about restoring hope, building trust, and showing solidarity with the people of Feni.
